This issue of Nostos is based on the theme of "loss." Eleven poets, two essayists, a short fiction writer, and an artist all render their experience and the human expression of loss. Non-fiction by John Marmysz and Sheila Bannon explores the fundamental nature of loss. Evocative paintings by June Yokell reflect the varying mood of loss. And the outstanding short story "Angel" by Heather Altfeld makes this issue a complete and moving and insightful collection on the theme.
